By tying a fixed quantity of RUB to 1 gram of gold, Russia essentially established a floor on the gold price. It looks as if the days of USD 1700/oz Troy or USD 1800/ozT are done. Next is to see how this affects the purchase of the oil.

Friendly reminder - Stake LEO = earn advertisement revenue. Still so stoked about this update.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It will be interesting to see when that actually rolls out. I mean they are getting the revenue now but when will it actually start hitting the LP holders accounts?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I was wondering the same thing. It's somewhere on the Khalendar

Everything is on the Khalendar. It is always a matter of wen soon.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The Sooniverse is such a magical place

Big fucking place since it seems everything is in it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's like a magic hat. There's always more shit inside.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Waking up on leo finance is sweet because you are sure of money that day.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

He sabotaged the Leofinance.up to be sure he will win! Not fair 😂😂😂

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

We will just have to teach him a lesson then. There is still a lot of days to go.

Using @leomarkettalk can really increase our comments. Time to show Khal how much the community can thwart him.

It passed the 20 mark, time for the price of polycub to rise?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It passed the 20 mark, time for the price of polycub to rise?

I would say it is still too early. We have the emission rate, half of what it was a week ago, still coming pretty strong. There is another 3 weeks of it.

At the same time we have bonding coming which might cause some selling pressure. Overall the Poly price is fairly stable although I would not be surprised to see a drift lower.

Either way I am dollar cost averaging.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It will be interesting to see where it is after the summertime.

Hopefully hbd gives people a good reason to use the platform and create some fees.

If it really does work out as number goes up then people are going to lock in the majority of supply over the next couple of years and drive up the price.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I believe you hit the nail on the head on that one.

Having the deepest liquidity pool for HBD anywhere is a worthwhile goal. It is what can set Polycub (and Cub) apart from all else. This could drive a lot of traffic through there. The fees would really add up.

If the protocol owns some of the pool, that would really make xPOLYCUB hodlers very happy.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This Reddit-style post is killing it! I think it can grow from here and maybe envision a better representation of it within the Leo Finance UI. Maybe a custom post type or something on the UX alone could bring a new way to present posts/information from Hive blockchain.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

What do you mean? Care to elaborate a little more about what you are referring to in particular?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

One of the most important developments is underway from Leofinance. It appears we will be sing this in the near term.

The addition of a pHBD liquidity pool is coming to Polycub.

I think this is going to be very big for both Polycub and Hive. It will really open up some doors.

How much HBD do you think will be moved over?

My guess is we should be able to get over 1 million HBD in there.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It’s great! Can’t wait!
Not sure what number would be moved over… but 1mln sounds like a great start.

We just got an annoumcement from Marky that he increased his vote on HBD in savings to 20%. If a lot of others follow, it could make things very interesting.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Really cool 😎 hope more witnesss will change their vote 🤞🏻 It could attract more from the outside to invest.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Right now Ecency still shows the APR for HBD at 12%. It will be a few days before Ecency updates the wallet page.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Marky and a couple other witnesses upped their votes. There is no consensus as of yet so the payout is still 12%.

Hopefully more will follow and tip it to the new level.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

REMINDER!!!

It is now time to grab all those #CANDIES.

Did you breathe today? Then make sure you have CANDIES. They are as important as oxygen.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Saved me tonight. I may or may not have remembered tomorrow but...I definitely forgot about it this evening, which is when I usually collect.

60 tmrw and 100 on Sunday so I would have missed all the big ones.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I did my 100 which is always fun to achieve.

Of course, then the letdown of dropping back to 10.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I made sure to get my candies and I need to remember to collect them every day.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I updated a couple of older posts today.

Did anyone else do the same?

Let us reveal some of what we are doing each day to help the SEO and drive traffic to Leofinance.io.

I am going to write a post tonight about the Metaverse using The Metaverse Hype as a link.

What are the thoughts of everyone?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I rank on page 1 for the search term 'is it altseason'.

I try and update it every now and then with updated dates and screenshots.

Last update was January, but that's a good example of what people can do in terms of edits.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

And I've seen you posting links to your old posts, in the comments of related new posts.

This is the way :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Glad to do it. If it is a way to get things ranking better, we can do this with thousands of posts on Leofinance.

We have the information here with different people's posts. At this point, it doesnt matter who it is who is ranking.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Just posted What is the Metaverse with a link to my older post. Trying to get that on more pages and ranking a bit better.

See if that drives some traffic over the next couple months. A lot of talk about the Metaverse lately.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I got some feedback and I plan on editing one of my posts later. It doesn't really get that many views but every little bit counts right?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes everything counts. It is hard to guess what will get picked up.

However, the key is to leverage the increase in visibility of the Leofinance.io. As others rank better in different categories, it will give your posts more weight.

At least that is how I think it works.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

If we can all pull in an extra hundred views every month that adds up very fast.

Small steps lead to big wins over time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is the power of collective masses.

We all can do small parts to pull in a bit more traffic.

If we ultimately get 100 people involved, that could have a huge difference, especially as the site itself starts ranking higher.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It has been picking up which has been awesome, I was looking at my stats and sadly not as good as I would have hoped I would have been able to do. But I will get there. Let's do this!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well if a few start picking things up, it will raise the ranking of the site in general, helping all our posts along.

Doing a few things that are being mentioned can really help the collective ranking.

Time to go after Wikipedia. LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha yes! That's a good idea. I have an account on Wikipedia I'll have to jump in and update stuff.

The thing I find hard is even when I was smashing out comments and replies I still couldn't make top spots which is fine. It's not a contest for me to be number 1 commenter. But it reduced the quality of my articles.

I spend a lot of time researching, interviewing, asking questions.

But I defo think there are a lot more people that can be doing more and together we can make Leo moon!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Has anyone tried HiveSearcher?

I used it in the past and kind of forgot about it. Seems like it is fairly good.

It might help in searching for your old content. It doesnt index Leofinance but you can find your Peakd or HiveBlog posts and simply enter in the Leofinance in its place.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's OK, but it wasn't always the case. In the past I had trouble accessing my older posts.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I tent to go to posts in Ecency, then write a word the old post has and it pops up.
Didn’t know about hivesearcher. Thanks for the info. Seems easier.
Although it doesn’t give you the leofinance posts.

No it doesnt give Leo posts. However, what you can do is take the hive.blog or whatever the front end that is coming up and put Leofinance.io at the beginning and go directly to that post.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ok… got it. Will try that next time.
Thanks for the advice @taskmaster4450le

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think ecency and peakd use it. I remember seeing a post a few days ago but don't remember who posted it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's been a while since I last used Hivesearcher. Occasionally I search for posts using Ecency, but most of the time I search for LeoFinance posts using Presearch since searches done there at least pay in PRE ERC20 tokens.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I posted this in the room yesterday. For those not on Twitter it is rather interesting.

It seems our very own Khal wants in the comment game and is aiming to take the top spot.

Perhaps he is going to be around a bit more this week.

Anyone care to guess how well he does and where he places? Evidently was #22 last week.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I predict top 5. Do you think he will pass you or me?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am going to ensure he doesnt pass me. How about you? Are you going to let him out comment you this week?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think I'll at least try to maintain my minimum but it doesn't look like Khal has commented that much. In terms of comment count, I am still quite a bit above but I think his comment length is quite good.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It seems that Shanghai is going to remained closed for the foreseeable future. Companies like Tesla and Apple are severely affected.

This is also going to most likely provide some rather poor GDP numbers for that country.

It only further adds to the global economic woes.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It’s a shame…

What is the reason for the shutdown? Is it about covid again? I haven't been paying attention as much to the situation there.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes they have a zero COVID tolerance policy.

They are shutting down factories and basically the entire city. Tesla factory is now down about 12 days or something.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Imagine if our nations had practiced "Flu Zero" or "Pneumonia Zero" or "Tuberculosis Zero"; we would all be shut in simply out of habit. Yet life goes on as if none of those respiratory illnesses is a concern.

"Covid Zero" not only doesn't work, but it has been proven not to work. Yet China insists on following that policy anyway (along with a few other nations). Something else must be happening. What that could be, I don't know; it's just a suspicion I have.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The CCP is intent on slowing things down, especially real estate. I dont see the sense of killing manufacturing since they are an exporting nation. Perhaps they truly believe they are going to control it.

Or maybe it is more control. Governments have been known to use lockdowns as a means of control. Nah that would never happen, would it?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The Republican fossils in the Senate are no better than the Dems when it comes to cryptocurrency. They are just as clueless.

Of course, they have to cite the "dark side" of crypto where it is used for nefarious purposes. I wonder if they feel the same about the USD.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

All of them have an agenda and I just hope it is all talk and no action.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yep. And the first part of the agenda is making sure they stay in office. The second part is to enrich themselves.

After that, it is anyone's guess but "serving the public" isnt high on the list.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

For those who are new to Splinterlands, this might be helpful with regards to the in-game currency, DEC.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Marky wrote an article about raising the Savings rate on HBD to 20%. He, along with a few other witnesses, already did it.

This is a great first step. We need to generate a lot more HBD. This is also in alignment with Khal's adding of HBD to Polycub. Now we are looking at a liquidity pool to help drive people to Hive.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is a very impressive Splinterlands goal to reach.

I am not sure how many can claim to be near this level. Certainly I cant.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I just added more to my xPOLYCUB stake. Keep stacking.

Hopefully we will see some of the newer features coming out in the next few weeks.

I am very excited to see how the HBD-USDC pool is received. That is going to really be an asset for the ecosystem I believe.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Recently I discovered that USDC is available across a few blockchains, including Ethereum and BSC. This isn't wrapped versions of USDC but native USDC, right?

I'm trying to figure out which stablecoins I can recommend which also offer the greatest versatility and mobility.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

USDC on Polygon (address: 0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174) is supported by all bridges (official polygon bridge/anyswap/wormhole/...) and Binance (+ other exchanges), and will be used for pHBD-USDC farm.

Thanks for the 411 on that.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

To be honest I am not sure how it works. That is something to perhaps drop in Discord. People like Khal, Neal, and Fbslo are a lot more knowledgeable about that stuff than me.

It is something to know though. Might cause a problem is buying USDC from an exchange and thinking it is Polygon when it is actually Ethereum.

While it's not the entire country, a special economic zone in Honduras has declared Bitcoin legal tender cryptocurrency:

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I saw that. It is good to see crypto getting a lot more attention.

We are really seeing things expand quickly. Even on Hive, things are shaking.
