Government and crypto is so interesting. There is absolutely no consistency which is amazing.
The state of Kentucky is looking at reducing the electric bill for Bitcoin miners in an effort to lure more technology companies to the area. This will be a hit to the state budget but they seem willing to move forward and consider it.

Yea it's definitely interesting but I don't know how profitable it will be in the US. How would they make sure they generate enough electricity? If they reduce the bill for these miners, are they planning to pass it to the residents? There's only so much supply for everyone there. If demand is greater than the supply, I fully expect prices to go up. Any new electricity generating facilities will take time to set up.

I think NFTs are definitely something popular in the future. People are seeing that they can tokenize many different things such as artwork and even game items. It's even better because it's transparent with a max print details available from the start. It's also easy to transfer so long as you use crypto.

I am not clear about the details of minting audio NFTs but I can see it as something possible. However I think most NFTs are built based on images so I don't know the right platforms or how it would work within the interface.

Yes, you do need an image associated with it, even if it's an audio NFT. But I've been reading a little and it doesn't look complicated. It's hard to say with they are gonna be as popular, but I guess I'll give it a go anyway.

NFTs are digital items. They are on the block chain. For example, you could buy an art piece physically or choose to buy one digitally. The digital art piece has proof your ownership and thus you are able to sell it to others if you want.

I guess even the big corporations are throwing in the towel for physical stores. Disney understands that they need to downsize anything that is physical. One of my neighbors works at Disney and he said he hasn't really gotten any work recently either.

This is no surprise at all. They are no different than any other company. Investing in physical retail is like going into 8 track tapes.

Hello friends!
Well, yesterday my mother told me that my father was not well and in the morning I went to see them, but apparently he was fine, just feeling some pain but nothing that I worried about.
Later my mother told me that he was feeling short of breath and as you know this is very worrying. I quickly went to check if it was something very serious or maybe he was looking forward to something, because it made us more than nervous, shortness of breath.
I didn't have the head to continue to stay here yesterday and that's why I was absent. Today I went to visit him again and thanks to God he is fine, but I already told him not to even think about leaving home, because he is old.
But I'm more relaxed. I'm even warning you to let off some steam with you because, given the situation the world is going through and also the worsening that my country is experiencing, we never want something serious to happen in our family, but the virus doesn't choose anyone and we all have that prevent us.
May your family always be safe!

I can see it yes. At some point, governments around the world will get involved. This will kickstart a feeding frenzy.

I think it's possible due to supply versus demand. As time goes by, there are less and less BTC created but the demand has only gone up. If we can get a few more huge HODLers, the prize can only soar. However it depends on whether or not hey have diamond hands.

Hey guys, good evening
Can anyone hook me up with some instructions on the best way to convert crypto on Binance to Hive?
I tried it recently using BlockTrades. I withdrew some ETH from my Binance wallet using the address I got from BlockTrades but the transaction never went through. Their support wasn't able to help either because they said the transaction id wasn't showing on the trackers. I anticipated that issues could occur so I only did a test run with a very small amount so I'm not bothered losing it. Still, I'd like to learn the proper way to do it.

I think Cathy Wood has a point about a rebound in the bond market. But I think she is wrong about the interest rates because the economy is not strong. With so many people out of work permanently, I don't think the stock market will continue to go up. It just means that the rich get richer while the poor gets poorer. At this breaking point, I feel that the economy is way too shaky to be fully confident that the market will continue going up.
Honestly, I am most worried about the huge amounts of insider selling going on. They are selling out of their positions every week. If the corporation executives are not willing to hold onto it, I would not feel safe investing in them. Of course, I'll ride the waves as I see them and if the risk/reward is in my favor.

Yeah I didnt grasp "the economy is on fire". To me, I have a tough time seeing it. That will eventually provide headwind earnings which has to impact stocks at some point (even though it seems like forever since it did).

@taskmaster4450le i realized that sometimes the predictions are made based on what i will call a "guess"and not facts,but many people on the market will react to that prediction especially if it is coming from someone who they consider to be an expert and they buy into that prediction and start buying and therefore the bitcoin price will keep rising and now the predictions will now tend to be correct....whatever makes bitcoin rise is a good news for me...

I am not so sure about having "Posted Using Sportstalk" everywhere. It might be fine in the original posts, but I think I saw some discussion about removing it from comments.
I think the original code was built for the original hive.blog so it's basic. I doubt people would many more changes unless they found critical errors. I don't know how many people use it as I prefer PeakD or Eccency for general feed stuff and their features.

I think it's nice and I like to use it for notifications. I think commenting through it as much since you get some extra points in eccency instead. However the notifications are alot better compare to eccency where the votes can get a bit spammy.
