Started reading about the peerplays on leofinance and hive. But could not understand much. Anyone here got any clue? is it good or bad for the HIVE?

It is another blockchain. This will allow for Hive to be directly tied to a DEX.
We will see how it all rolls out.

According to the cryptomaniac's podcast, I heard it's a small chain and it was more for the software/development side than for the users. So who knows at this point.
