I think it's the file type. Make sure it's a jpeg or png, because webfiles or html don't work
I think image upload is an issue for mobile users.
OK same happened to me using .png. So that's the reason. It thinks it's a link when acutally its image.

But I write it for Hive learners contest. Last night it took huge effort of mine also. Because of electricity problem designing the thumbnail picture took 3 hours and at the last I made the mistake.
I checked Hive Learners and it didn't say cross-posting is not allowed so I think it's okay and your entry is valid.
contest rules was to post in Hive learners community and that may create issues. Let's wait and see and I can't do more about it.

I also use Peakd, and Ecency, peaakd I use it more for its text editor that has, ecency I use it for the notifications, it has a good notification system, but I like leofinance in its graphic style, and yes that this of the threads is great
