There are some benefits to be on top, but it is not automatic, the review is organic so pretty easy to spot abusers and just not give them the benefits. And they could be working hard on good engagement, not spamming.
Ecency.Waves is a more ambitious dApp. It accepts feeds from D.Buzz as well as LeoThreads. It also allows 255 characters in an entry. However, it can be slow (because it does a lot), and it doesn't allow text formatting.

Yes they can improve each other but I think most of us will use the one that suits us the best or that we like using in terms of UI wise and everything ~

There are some benefits to be on top, but it is not automatic, the review is organic so pretty easy to spot abusers and just not give them the benefits. And they could be working hard on good engagement, not spamming.
Why I think we need LeoVideo?

Ecency.Waves is a more ambitious dApp. It accepts feeds from D.Buzz as well as LeoThreads. It also allows 255 characters in an entry. However, it can be slow (because it does a lot), and it doesn't allow text formatting.
