1-I'm seeing those votes mostly being diluted at minute levels. So sure, a 100% vote would be nice, but so many are voting at 5%. Also, only two are curating well and only one is curating beneficial content for the platform.
well yeah, if I voted people 100% in threads, I could vote 8 people and then I'm down to 80% VP.....If I vote at 5%, I can spread the tokens out a lot more.

What's interesting is that prior to Zealy, they had a campaign which was solely within Threads, and it was just about the most fun we'd had as a community here. Threads were jam-packed here - activity was even higher than it is now, and there was engagement.

The only thing I really feel is a pain and is stopping people for coming and staying is the login issues, many people try everything and doesn't work or their threads and posts don't go, or they get to log and work and suddenly the same method gives them issues... at least people being able to enter and do a long post with no issues will be awesome, everything else is easy to deal with and get over it

Taking snapshots of birds is tricky business. I saw this bird and it remained visible for mere seconds. I only had time to take a quick snapshot. It's perching on the trunk.
I just got a monocular that I can attach to a phone for close up shots, so I was testing how long it took me to set it up upon first sighting a bird. Not even close. The bird was gone by the time I opened my bag. :D
there's just something about bird that's so incredible, how small and cute the look, and they are super smart it's not easy to take a picture of a bird unless they don't notice your present.
I think this species is called northern flicker. A pair of them flew rapidly across the path I was on and went into the forest. They jumped from branch to branch making a call. So quick!
i think I know a bird like that too over here in Africa, they jump so fast that you can't get hold of them, you were lucky to have gotten a picture while it didn't notice. Plus can I say I love how the forest over there looks. It's so green

Not really. What sometimes happens to us with beans is that they take a long time to soften when cooked. So we soak them in water the day before. Then in the morning we cook them and when they are soft we add seasoning.
I really do. We use garlic a lot. Also onion, paprika, and some branches like cilantro. The last ones we ate were prepared by my husband and he added garlic, onion and salt. They were very good. I'm sure yours is good too.
When raw, this bean is black. When cooked, it tends to take on this color. Sometimes it depends on how we season it, it takes on a certain color (sometimes it turns reddish), but it always keeps its dark color ☺️
Oh it's just different with out beans here but I am out to learn and tasting use food, I'd Love to try and see how good it is, it just give that chocolate color more reason why I will wanna try it.

Lots of Lions here have decent voting power, and everyone here tends to send votes out a lot more than on Hive. I know I will make a much bigger effort to curate Leo articles in the new year!
1-I'm seeing those votes mostly being diluted at minute levels. So sure, a 100% vote would be nice, but so many are voting at 5%. Also, only two are curating well and only one is curating beneficial content for the platform.
well yeah, if I voted people 100% in threads, I could vote 8 people and then I'm down to 80% VP.....If I vote at 5%, I can spread the tokens out a lot more.
2-The majority with big stake are either just voting any old shit without much thought in it or just arent active enough.I myself wouldnt find the effort worth it if it werent 4 Taskmater or Khal.Task is using his vote better than khal tho

These are excellent ideas! Most salient for me personally is doing it all directly on Threads without using an outside entity for challenges.
Thank you and yes, being local is necessary. Leo has curation, but without fun challenges, which are key, IMO. So robotic voting without any fun at all really. We need some fun integrated,which will go a long way. Further than anything else
What's interesting is that prior to Zealy, they had a campaign which was solely within Threads, and it was just about the most fun we'd had as a community here. Threads were jam-packed here - activity was even higher than it is now, and there was engagement.
I wonder why it was fazed out? There's not much excitement here, unless it's fake through Zealy campaigns. I think those posting spikes from the Zealy campaign are more harmful than helpful. It feels too spammy

The only thing I really feel is a pain and is stopping people for coming and staying is the login issues, many people try everything and doesn't work or their threads and posts don't go, or they get to log and work and suddenly the same method gives them issues... at least people being able to enter and do a long post with no issues will be awesome, everything else is easy to deal with and get over it

Taking snapshots of birds is tricky business. I saw this bird and it remained visible for mere seconds. I only had time to take a quick snapshot. It's perching on the trunk.

I just got a monocular that I can attach to a phone for close up shots, so I was testing how long it took me to set it up upon first sighting a bird. Not even close. The bird was gone by the time I opened my bag. :D

At 37 deg C today most birds are in hiding from the heat! Shoulder seasons are best for bird photography.
By the time you realize they will fly away. This is a good shot. I like how the different colors of the plants ,make the picture cool
They are swift little guys. It was a pair of them flying around quickly from tree to tree.

there's just something about bird that's so incredible, how small and cute the look, and they are super smart it's not easy to take a picture of a bird unless they don't notice your present.
I think this species is called northern flicker. A pair of them flew rapidly across the path I was on and went into the forest. They jumped from branch to branch making a call. So quick!
i think I know a bird like that too over here in Africa, they jump so fast that you can't get hold of them, you were lucky to have gotten a picture while it didn't notice. Plus can I say I love how the forest over there looks. It's so green
The forest is supposed to be greener but it was a dry summer. Lots of rain recently though. I hope you can capture a photo of the bird one day :)

I really like to eat arepas with black beans. Also empanadas which is a traditional Venezuelan food made with corn flour. You make the dough, fill it and then fry it 😋. I put cheese in it too 🤤 #food

It really tastes great 😄. Corn flour is widely used in my country. It is used to make arepas, buns, empanadas and many other recipes. Even corn as such is used to make delicious atole with cinnamon and sugar 😋. All tasty.

Does it taste salty?
These have salt. I make them salty because my husband and I usually like them salty. When it provokes me, I add a little sugar or melted panela to give it a touch of sweetness. Just a little goes a long way 😋 A different touch of flavor.

Not really. What sometimes happens to us with beans is that they take a long time to soften when cooked. So we soak them in water the day before. Then in the morning we cook them and when they are soft we add seasoning.
Oh why, it's quite tedious to prepare a bean meal then. But meals that come out nice like the one you have eye make the stress worth it right
I really do. We use garlic a lot. Also onion, paprika, and some branches like cilantro. The last ones we ate were prepared by my husband and he added garlic, onion and salt. They were very good. I'm sure yours is good too.

why does it look like chocolate? Woah we really do have different ideas of beans though but if you say it's nice then it is.
When raw, this bean is black. When cooked, it tends to take on this color. Sometimes it depends on how we season it, it takes on a certain color (sometimes it turns reddish), but it always keeps its dark color ☺️
Oh it's just different with out beans here but I am out to learn and tasting use food, I'd Love to try and see how good it is, it just give that chocolate color more reason why I will wanna try it.
