I have 2 choices for internet providers where I'm at. Verizon 5g or xfinity "10g" (lol wut). the xfinity 1.2gb plan was awful and went out basically every day. the Verizon was good til last month when they changed my plan to 50mbps without notification. So to get the exact same plan and be able to use the internet without everything loading forever, I had to upgrade to the $80/month plan. Fuck xfinity and Verizon.
About a year ago, I got so pissed at Spectrum that I cut them loose and tried T-mobile 5 G internet and I have been pleasently suprised. I run a lot of stuff off my wifi and it has held up well.
It is $50 a month.
I have spectrum and have thought about changing to the T-Mobile internet but the 5G signal at my house is a bit spotty, so that's why I haven't. Not sure if it would be worth the savings for that

I am not a coder, but yesterday I managed to write three scripts with the help of AI
The first script scrapes any 3speak channel and outputs a csv list of all the videos including the order number they were posted in and the video id
The second script analyses the csv and downloads the videos locally
The third script (actually just a command) runs voice detection transcription software on all the downloaded videos.
The result of the whole process are subtitle files that can be attached to the videos and/or re-fed into the LLM to create summaries of the videoes contents.
Hm no, just experimenting with building prompts in general and experimenting with different use-cases. I could probably do a write-up on my process on achieving this though. I'll make sure to tag you when I do 👍

I get 30 GB data per month for just 2.2 USD.
I use about 1tb of data/month so it's not that bad. Just annoyed that it started aat $50 like 6 months ago

I'm impressed with the price rise for $LEO - it'll be interesting to see if it's a pre-LPUD spike, or a more long term change, but I suspect the latter. It's about time LEO price reflected the value in the platform !
