My vision for the LEO token economy has always been that we

1. Turn off inflation (currently set to happen when we hit 50M tokens)
2. Flip to system income rewards pool (the creator/curator reward pool comes from buybacks using revenue - premium, LeoDex, etc)
3. Setup a DAO system where a % of revenue flows to it and can be requested for funding community-created projects

Getting this live would have a massively positive impact on the $LEO token. There’d be no inflation and any earnings on the protocol would be entirely funded by revenue

Effectively, block rewards = buybacks instead of inflation

I’ve been pushing the revenue mechanisms hard because the faster we get to higher revenue, the faster we can turn on the system income rewards pool model

Longest part seemed to be Hive-Engine, but we won't go there...

Yeah typically the HE part is usually super fast. It’s slow temporarily rn

Over time, other routes will be added and swaps can aggregate through both VSC and HE

It will pick the fastest/cheapest route

Yeah, I'll be real interested to see how VSC works. If it is as decentralized as they say, then that would be the answer over Hive Engine.

I say this as a pissed off Hive Engine witness, lol.

Staking Hive for running a consensus node instead of staking $BEE token which is issued and controlled by one person

Hell, it's not even BEE, it's WORKERBEE which is even more controlled and consolidated with only a few people. So that sounds good to me. Maybe I need to look into running a consensus node and moving my resources over to VSC...

It’s unbelievable how cheap $LEO is right now, kind of weird especially with the growing LEO MAU’s 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just the way it works with a play to earn kind of token. Same with Hive. But they are doing a great job with innovations. If they can move LEO over to VSC and off of Hive-Engine, that would be great!
