I am quite amused that this is even possible. Maybe less of the DHF funds should get dumped on exchanges and instead projects should stake more HIVE. We have built this monster ourselves. The only way to overcome this is to collectively have more or equal HP than BT.

Oh I 100% agree with that. I use it as a currency. The LTC I merge mine with DOGE is what I use for my 'savings'. But I am also not opposed to using that either. I also use BTC as currency too. But, these days, I am spending it on more infrastructure to make more coins. The best part about PoW too is that I don't need anyone's vote or permission. I just hook up machines and start mining. Then with the solar infrastructure I am building to back them, that's just all gravy.
For me, land is the only real long term holding, and would happily dump any of my digital and physical coin to buy more land!

For sure. I have seen those reports too. And the fact that it is seen as a commodity by the CFTC, and the supply cap of 84 million. I have been using LTC since I started the crypto game, and I do see it as silver to BTC's gold in that manner. It used to be my main offramp from Hive-Engine, but now that I am mining DOGE and using that, I have been stacking the LTC again instead of spending it. And since I don't have the resources to go pull metals out of the ground, then I will mine the digital versions, lol.
Yeah, I think that's smart. LTC is battle tested and very useful for transferring assets between exchanges. Might add some to my long term portfolio at some point.
