As I just watched an argument between two world leaders I saw two men driven by different kinds of insecurities, acting out their insecurities in public. It’s the same time every time I watch the news. There are a lot of adults who are emotional children and have a lot of power.
It was train wreck entertainment at its finest. However, what matters is what comes out of that in 6 to 12 months. Remember, Trump & Kim Jong Un hurled insults at each other initially, then they were able 2establish cordial relations later.
So many world leaders act like kids fighting on a playground, just with higher stakes. Power doesn’t make people mature, it just gives their insecurities a bigger stage
I don’t think people are dumb by nature but they sure do tend to act dumb. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is an important thing to understand and when you allow fear to drive you, you tend to say and do stupid things.
It’s natural to get stuck on the path to emotional maturity but a rule of thumb is to understand your fears as much as you can and don’t let them cloud your judgement.
Yeah, people aren’t dumb, but fear really does make them do some stuff. It’s like their brain just shuts off. Ever seen someone try to argue while panicking?
The world is run by children because we don’t understand emotional maturity. Most celebrities and politicians are fueled by their insecurities to all of our detriment.
When I think of emotional adult I can’t think of many but the temperament of Keanu Reeves comes to mind. Humility is the first word I think of and he definitely looks like a humble person.
The dude just minds his business, stays humble and doesn’t act like the world owes him anything. Wish more people at the top had that mindset instead of letting their egos run shit

Apple’s AI tool transcribes the word 'racist' as 'Trump'
Videos posted online show people speaking the word 'racist' into Apple's AI Dictation tool. It is sometimes transcribed correctly but on other occasions it turns into 'Trump', before being quickly corrected to the right word.
The tech behemoth says the issue comes from its Dictation service being unable to distinguish between words that have an 'r' in them.
However, an expert in speech recognition argues that Apple's explanation is "just not plausible". Peter Bell suggests that Apple's issue is unlikely to be a genuine mistake with the data as its English language model would be trained on hundreds of thousands of hours of speech and should therefore have a high level of accuracy.
A former Apple employee who worked on its AI assistant Siri suspects that a "serious prank" has been pulled.
