RE: Hive Post Deleted - I No Longer Support This Blockchain

in LeoFinance3 years ago

I'm glad you had a change of heart and came back to Hive because I don't always want to sit through videos on LBRY. What good is the token? It's a good idea, too bad it doesn't have a profiting system where those buying in would get some yield, the same system would resist and reverse these evil agendas.

I'm not, just figured it was worth shilling here real quick :-P

because I don't always want to sit through videos on LBRY.

You can put every kind of content on Odysee/LBRY - I'm going to be putting my blogs over there now, as well as my videos.

What good is the token?

The main use for the token is staking it in content/channels to boost them in the algorithms. It can also be used for tips, and to buy content that is for sale.

You buy it cheap, and get use out of it, while it (hopefully) goes up in price.

Tokens like Hive that offer interest do so by inflating the number of tokens.

This always creates more centralization of the token, as the biggest holders keep getting tons of the coins for free.

Odysee isn't PoS or dPoS - staking is only used for the search algorithms, and is liquid (instantly removed/changed)

LBC will be going to $1 per coin before Hive makes it to $5 per coin.

Also, Odysee has well over a million active users, compared to Hive's 20,000 active accounts (not counting Splinterlands players)
