Yes, soccer might be the niche to attract investors to Play2Earn, believe me in my country they have something similar like that, however you don't have any awards, they just play for fun.
Yep. Been a long time coming. I dont follow this project but I agree with your assessment of SL. Duplicating that success, to any degree would be monumental.
