The Amazing Xmas Event Promotion is over! Profit and ROI calculation!
I generally write a post about the dCrops farming game every 15 days between the end of a season and the beginning of a new season.
Today I'm returning to write about dCrops in the middle of the current season because I want to share my thoughts on the XMAS event promotion that ended a few days ago and I also want to share the calculation of the financial results (Profit and ROI) that I got from participating in this promotion.
XMas + New Year Event promotion with a post posted on Hive.On December 26, 2022, @dcrops announced the start of the
The format of the promotion was really nice and fun because it offered two possibilities:
- 1. the chance to earn candy canes points that could be spent on purchasing game assets and other rewards simply by completing game activities.
- 2. the ability to enter the Nice List that allowed:
- **to send 3 daily gifts every 24 hours to 3 random players.
- receive a random number of daily gifts every day
The coolest and most fun part of the promotion was really the Nice List.
Entering the Nice List was not a free option but a paid one because registration had a cost of 5000 token CROP.
Shortly after the announcement of the promotion some friends/players of dCrops contacted me on Discord and asked me whether I thought it was convenient to join or not.
My answer was without any doubt, "Yes because the value of the rewards obtainable is very high!".
In today's post I want to calculate and show the financial results, Profit and ROI, of my participation in the Nice List but before making these calculations I want to highlight the fact that I really had fun and the operations of sending and receiving the daily gifts were for me and for more than 30 days a pleasant and fun evening event.
dCrops Xmas Event: Profit and ROI calculation
Those who regularly read my posts know that I like to do calculations and evaluations, and in order to keep track of the Xmas Event promotion rewards, I made and saved a screenshot for each reward received throughout the duration of the promotion.
To get on the Nice List I spent 5000 CROP.
Today January 30, 2023 1 CROP has a value of:
- 0.00389880 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0016328 (Lowest Ask)
- 0.00350001 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0014658 (Highest Bid)
If I had not participated in dCrops' Xmas Event promotion today I would have 5000 CROP more in my wallet whose current value (Highest Bid) is 17.50 SWAP.HIVE = $7.35
17.50 SWAP.HIVE (=7.35$) is thus theinitial cost I incurred to enter the Nice List.
In the table below, I calculated the total market value of the tokens and NFTs that I found within the daily gifts: 19.40 SWAP.HIVE = $8.14
To the previous value I must add the total value of the NFTs I purchased using the Golden Tickets I received.
In the Xmas event promotion shop it was only possible to purchase using the golden tickets:
- ALPHA Packs
- BETA Packs
- XMAS Tree
- Gingerbread Cookies
I collected 25 Golden Tickets I was able to use 22 with which I purchased:
- 6 ALPHA packs
- 1 Gingerbread Cookie
1 ALPHA pack = DCALPHA token on Hive Engine = 7.25 SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid)
1 Gingerbread Cookie = 24.50 SWAP.HIVE (dCrops Market Value)
Through the use of 22 Golden Tickets, I obtained a value of 42.44 SWAP.HIVE = $17.82.
Now I have all the data I need to calculate the financial results of my participation in the Xmas Event promotion organized by dCrops.
Participating in dCrops' Xmas Event promotion allowed me:
- to **get fun
- to get a profit of $18.62
- to obtain a ROI of +253.365%.
The good thing is that the financial results I showed you might even improve in the near future because I used all the Candy Canes points I accumulated during the promotion to buy 11 presents that I sent to other players and this good deed of mine might be rewarded by the drawing of more prizes that will take place soon...
Participating in the Xmas Event promotion was really a right choice, fun and at the same time very profitable!
I hope that in the future dCrops will continue to organize beautiful initiatives like the Xmas Event initiative.

dCrops: E' finita la meravigliosa promozione Xmas Event! Profit and ROI calculation!
Generalmente scrivo un post sul gioco di farming dCrops ogni 15 giorni a cavallo della fine di una stagione e l'inizio di una nuova stagione.
Oggi ritorno a scrivere su dCrops nel bel mezzo della stagione in corso perchè voglio condividere le mie considerazioni sulla promozione XMAS event che è finita da pochi giorni e voglio anche condividere il calcolo dei risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) che ho ottenuto partecipando a questa promozione.
XMas + New Year Event con un post pubblicato su Hive.Il 26 dicembre 2022 @dcrops ha annunciato l'inizio della promozione
Il format della promozione è stato davvero bello e divertente perchè offriva due possibilità:
- 1. la possibilità di guadagnare punti candy canes spendibili per acquistare assets del gioco e altri premi semplicemente completando le attività di gioco.
- 2. la possibilità di entrare nella Nice List che permetteva:
- di inviare 3 daily gifts ogni 24 ore a 3 giocatori casuali
- ricevere un numero casuale di daily gifts ogni giorno
La parte più bella e divertente della promozione è stata proprio la Nice List.
Entrare nella Nice List non era un'opzione gratuita ma a pagamento perchè l'iscrizione aveva un costo di 5000 token CROP.
Poco dopo l'annuncio della promozione alcuni amici/giocatori di dCrops mi hanno contattato su Discord e mi hanno chiesto se secondo me conveniva partecipare oppure no.
La mia risposta è stata senza dubbi: "Si perchè il valore dei premi ottenibili è molto alto!".
Nel post di oggi voglio calcolare e mostrare i risultati finanziari, Profit e ROI, della mia partecipazione alla Nice List ma prima di fare questi calcoli voglio sottolineare il fatto che mi sono davvero divertito e le operazioni di invio e ricevimento dei daily gifts sono state per me e per più di 30 giorni un piacevole e divertente appuntamento serale.
dCrops Xmas Event: Profit and ROI calculation
Chi legge regolarmente i miei post sa bene che mi piace fare calcoli e valutazioni e per tenere traccia delle ricompense della promozione Xmas Event ho fatto e salvato uno screenshot per ogni ricompensa ricevuta durante tutta la durata della promozione.
Per entrare nella Nice List ho speso 5000 CROP.
Oggi 30 gennaio 2023 1 CROP ha un valore di:
- 0.00389880 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0016328 (Lowest Ask)
- 0.00350001 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0014658 (Highest Bid)
Se non avessi partecipato alla promozione Xmas Event di dCrops oggi avrei 5000 CROP in più nel mio wallet il cui valore attuale (Highest Bid) è di 17.50 SWAP.HIVE = 7.35$
17.50 SWAP.HIVE (=7.35$) è quindi il** costo iniziale** che ho sostenuto per entrare nella Nice List.
Nella tabella seguente ho calcolato il valore di mercato totale dei tokens e degli NFTs che ho trovato all'interno dei daily gifts: 19.40 SWAP.HIVE = 8.14$
Al valore precedente devo aggiungere il valore totale degli NFTs che ho acquistato utilizzando i Golden Tickets che ho ricevuto.
Nello shop della promozione Xmas event era possibile acquistare esclusivamente utilizzando i golden tickets:
- ALPHA Packs
- BETA Packs
- XMAS Tree
- Gingerbread Cookie
Ho collezionato 25 Golden Tickets sono riuscito ad utilizzarne 22 con i quali ho acquistato:
- 6 ALPHA packs
- 1 Gingerbread Cookie
1 ALPHA pack = DCALPHA token su Hive Engine = 7.25 SWAP.HIVE (Highest Bid)
1 Gingerbread Cookie = 24.50 SWAP.HIVE (dCrops Market Value)
Grazie all'utilizzo di 22 Golden Tickets ho ottenuto un valore di 42.44 SWAP.HIVE = 17.82$.
Adesso ho tutti i dati che mi servono per calcolare i risultati finanziari della mia partecipazione alla promozione Xmas Event organizzata da dCrops.
Partecipare alla promozione Xmas Event di dCrops mi ha permesso:
- di divertirmi
- di ottenere un profitto di 18.62$
- di ottenere un ROI del +253.365%
Il bello è che i risultati finanziari che ti ho mostrato potrebbero anche migliorare nel prossimo futuro perchè ho utilizzato tutti i punti Candy Canes che ho accumulato durante la promozione per acquistare 11 presents che ho inviato ad altri giocatori e questa mia buona azione potrebbe essere premiata dall'estrazione di altri premi che avverrà prossimamente...
Partecipare alla promozione Xmas Event è stata davvero una scelta giusta, divertente e allo stesso tempo molto profittevole!
Spero che in futuro dCrops continui ad organizzare belle iniziative come l'iniziativa Xmas Event.

Si questo evento è stato davvero bello e profittevole.
Secondo me non è mai tardi per iniziare e dcrops non è in uno stato avanzato perchà lo sviluppo è continuo ma molto più lento di altri progetti ma al di là di tutto un gioco deve piacere per iniziarci a giocare e se non lo hai ancora fatto vuol dire molto probabilmente che non è il tuo genere e se ti devo essere sincero non è neanche il mio ma il mio divertimento nei giochi di farming passa sempre da un punto, raggiungere il punto di pareggio e quindi tutti devono diventare prima o poi delle macchine semiautomatiche che mi devono dare risorse per investire in altri giochi/progetti a costo 0 ;)

Hai centrato perfettamente il punto! Sicuramente è un gioco con del potenziale ed è fatto bene, ma la verità, alla fine, è quella che hai scritto: i gestionali così "puri" non sono proprio il mio genere e, anche se in un caso come questo dovrei solo fare pochi click al giorno, alla fine preferisco lo stesso dedicare un minuto di più ad un gioco che mi piace, invece ad uno che non mi dice nulla!
La cosa bella di seguirti, però, è che posso comunque restare sempre aggiornato anche sui giochi che non rientrano nei miei gusti e, se un giorno dovessi vedere dai tuoi post che le cose sono cambiate o le opportunità di guadagno e crescita sono aumentate in maniera considerevole, potrei in un attimo saltare sulla barca ed iniziare a giocarci :)

I see a lot of people saying that dcrops is very profitable, currently the only projects I'm in crypto are splinterlands, godsunchained, risingstar and infernumcoliseum, but I'm seriously thinking about starting in dcrops.

Yes, I see many people praising dCrops, and starting in the game, maybe next month it will start too.
I started gods without any investment, today I crafted my first nft card, $0.06 value, I find it interesting how they made a sublayer in the game to avoid high fees in trading cards, not to mention that the game is fun, if you've played hearthstone, You'll see that it's similar, but I found the gameplay more lively, and with less idle time (afk players) the ranked system with limited daily rewards, also helps a lot. I'm doing a weekly post about the game's evolution, I'm at tier 4, out of 12, it's already a considerable advance, but there are still 8 steps left to evolve xD

Currently the market conditions are going or it was some time ago then people stopped playing such games. If the market continues to bleach in the coming days then everyone will go up on the good side then people will start playing such games again. will do. The way you have calculated the profit margin of this game, if people play it, they can earn a lot of profit and pass their time in a good way. I am also thinking to start playing this game.
You are right in this bearmarket all game projects have suffered from the market situation and have seen the number of players drop but it is in these moments that accumulating is easier while waiting for the next bull market which I hope will come although I think it will take more time ;)

I did a little worse in this event than I did in Halloween, even though I did not notice the Halloween event until it was over, and for Christmas bought a pack specifically for the Christmas event, I was in that unlucky 25% who got nothing for that. haha, I guess, joke is on me dCrops ;)
For little wallets like me, there is really no hope of being able to get golden tickets, so with everyone starting at different points, I was especially curious about the ROI on the Nice list. You definnitely got out more than the 5k Crops worth, so I think that encourages me to try myself when the next holiday event comes around :)

Yes this promotion was really profitable for everyone precisely because there was the Nice List mechanism.
Halloween mainly rewarded those who had a lot of assets in the game this one instead was great for everyone because Golden tickets were only found in daily gifts.
If dCrops is going to do another promotion like this one with a mechanism similar to the Nice List you should definitely participate ;)

i start to play this game, bought 3 plots and some plants,
but cant harvest all from quest list what need, i complete only 1 mission.

Yes in order to receive the rewards you have to complete all the missions and that is why it is important to request the new missions at the beginning of each season and before planting the seeds.
The missions in dCrops are different from the missions in the other games here on Hive because to complete them without hitting the rerool button too many times you need to have a fairly large collection of NFTs.
