Investing in Hive, what I am waiting for these days!

in LeoFinance4 months ago

Since this is my first post here I'll mention my background. I have been in all sorts of media tech since the mid eighties, including the internet from early on.

Although this account on Hive is for my photography, I am also active within Bitcoin and the blockchain space in general, working to making a living producing content and the technical solution that I am capable of getting done.

I have been watching the performance of the Hive token mainly with one focus: will it survive into the next phase of the Bitcoin bull market so that it can really thrive in the years to come?

Although I am very willing to go all in on Hive and find the actual performance of the underlying tech very promising I still need to see if the time I will pour into publishing content is worth it long term

Please do not shoot me down for this, I totally can see that many of you in here feel as if you have gone through a meat & mind grinder, and hopefully writing this might even be a positive thing since I'm starting this now, and hopefully will be able to inject some optimism at the right time!

So with that over with, this is how I view things from here on:

The big picture

Tech adoption is a grueling experience when you get in early. In our case we have to bridge a freedom gap, where we need as many as possible to make a viable income from being online on uncensorable, unstoppable platforms like Hive.

Bitcoin is of course leading the whole space, and although it might do another deep dive my main thesis is still that we will get another huge leg up, into 2025. My thinking on this is that even if we get a US deep depression or even a civil war, or even if Europe gets into a larger war, the very nature of tech is that the other regions and countries on the planet can "rewire" easily, and this is what is happening now. In other words I do not believe in a deep 1930s, global depression due to then nature of online tech.

What if this does happen? Well then even more people all over the globe will be even hungrier making some unstoppable money on Hive, so it could even make it grow.

Hive right now

This line one HIVEUSDT is interesting, regardless of any technical rules:

Will we break above? Maybe retest on this line? It's worth watching!

When we add this line we might see the start of a bottoming wedge:

If we break that lower line I will certainly wait things out before I buy more Hive... If it gets very bad I might also postpone my real effort here, again not because of ill will, its more about preserving energy for the big push!

How does the past few days look on 4 hour?

This looks promising! But it will all depend on what Bitcoin does, we need it to either keep going horizontal or break out for this line to catapult Hive into new patterns upwards.

The wedge gets even more clear this way on the 1-day chart:

Now, how does HIVEBTC look?

Here we have some interesting lines suggesting that we are at least not going down in one, set pattern. There are signs of a horizontal "walk out" of the worst doom!

This is an added line that I will watch more short term:

Now if we break above that line I'll be looking at getting in for real!

Add a bottom line and we get another wedge pattern:

The long play

Will I totally YOLO into Hive? Certainly when it comes to producing content! But since I'm kinda rekt other than some Bitcoin, Monero and cash I won't be able to become a Hive whale, which might even be a good thing, it should all be about producing & sharing good content I guess?

And of course we might totally crash from here, that goes for even Bitcoin and gold, so be careful with what you cannot afford to lose...

Good luck everyone!

Sort:

I send you a warm welcome to Hive. There are many things that I could say in response to your post, but the most essential point that I'd like to communicate to you is that Hive assets are based on our human value, and as such are more intrinsically and inherently valuble than any fiat currency, which is based on debt.

What we have here on Hive is very special indeed. First off, Hive is an entirely based on the community. There is (very thankfully) no corporate or governmental involvement. Everything that is done on Hive by people all over the world that love and believe in this glorious Blockchain, development, management, maintenance, governance, all of it. We also own our keys, which means that any assets generated here are ours, and they can't be seized or frozen, and we can use them however we want. Hive puts everyone in the world on the same economic playing field, allowing people to successfully surmount their local economic situations.

Also, you can indeed reach whale level starting from zero. It will just take commitment, dedication, determination, consistency, persistence, perservence, and relentless tenacity. I saw Hive's incredible potential as soon as I arrived on the Blockchain almost 3 years ago, and I've been all-in for the long haul ever since. I give my all to Hive every single day, both for myself and everyone else on the Blockchain.

Hive is a huge ecosystem, that takes time to take in and fully understand how it all works and fits together. The time and energy spent doing so is well worth it. On a financial note, Hive is a compounding interest and exponential growth machine, with so many diverse ways to generate income, and with proper knowledge, amazing profits can be made here. You can also trade and save BCH, BTC, DOGE, LTC, MATIC, among several others, on Hive Engine as their SWAP counterparts.

Anyway, I hope that you stick around, and that your time on Hive is fun, fulfilling, and meaningful! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thanks for the follow. I have been here on Hive (Steemit) since 2017 … I have been blogging since the Internet was created. Long time Blogspot blogger. I did well with Adsense and Steemit but on Hive I started getting all my posts downvoted to zero on day 7 … so I moved over to Blurt.blog where I’m earning a few $100 a week now. You should give Blurt a try. It’s another fork from Steemit but no downvotes. See you there … https://Blurt.blog
