It's completely gone. Crypto assets worth the US $ 8 million disappeared from the Metamask crypto asset wallet. The crypto asset belongs to Hugh Karp, CEO of Nexus.
The missing crypto asset is NXM, the native token for the Nexus Mutual platform. The total missing NXM belonging to Karp was 370,000 NXM valued at approximately US $ 8 million.
The hacking action was reported directly by Karp via Twitter. Karp himself admitted that the hacking technique was very sophisticated. Karp even offered hackers a reward for returning the stolen NXM, with a reward of US $ 300,000.
To the attacker. Very nice trick, definitely next-level stuff.
You'll have trouble cashing out that much NXM.
If you return the NXM in full, we will drop all investigations and I will grant you a $ 300k bounty.

"To hackers, that is a very good hacking technique. [But] you will have a hard time cashing out that much NXM. If you return NXM in full, we will cancel all investigations of this case and I will reward you with the US $ 300,000, "Karp said on Twitter.
At 9:40 am this morning @ HughKarp's personal address was attacked and drained by a member of the mutual. Only Hugh's address was affected in this targeted attack and there is no subsequent risk to Nexus Mutual or any members. Https://t.co/72nrIDpKW6
