Sounds lovely @taskmaster4450le đ working on it!
Yes, all depending where you are. Some odd years indeed.
Luckily the world sees we need to get back to some form of ânormalityâ now, although it never will be the same. As so many things have changed.
Like working from home, no need for offices anymore. (for some companies and occupations)

Ironic that, from a technological standpoint, this was possible long before 2020. Yet business and individuals resisted.
Now remote work is becoming the norm. We are going to see an increase in it towards the middle of the decade when I believe it will be the norm. What can be done remotely will be.
Cryptocurrency is only going to add to it. This is a way for people to be rewarded for what they do. It will only keep growing.

Yes, it could have been possible long before the pandemic.
Only now companies see the benefits of it all.
They always thought people wouldnât âworkâ as hard as they should at home. Now people proved the companies wrong. Some even work better at home, longer than they should, just because they donât have the hassle of commuting, and think letâs just finish something quickly etc.
I think itâs great⌠a better life /work balance can be achieved this way.
I think you are right, my thoughts as well. It will only increase for the jobs that can be done remotely.
Yes, it will help to grow.

The next few years will see a lot more tools added by the likes of Microsoft, Saleforce, and AWS. This will allow companies to better manage what is taking place.
That is why I think it will be a few years. Have to get the tools out there along with changing the mindset. Remote work is still a novelty; a temporary measure if you will. Many companies are still talking about bringing people back to the office.
It will die down over the next couple years.
Of course, Hive requires no office time since none exists. Food for thought. LOL

Yes, interesting to see what the next years will bring.
And also some donât want to bring people back to their offices, but due to cross border working they need to because of tax reasons⌠so many intricate details that need to be thought about.
No office time for Hive indeed, it should be food for thought for more đ

At some point companies are going to realize they can forgo a lot of expensive real estate. I have a feeling the markets in the urban areas could crater. Commercial real estate is likely changed forever because of this.

I see that already happening. Large companies from relatives closed offices / buildings as they can do with smaller offices. Now more are working remote.
It is going to happen in some way shape or form.
Maybe they should change the use status of some of those buildings/ commercial real estate.
Into living accommodation etc.
as some large cities have housing shortages.

Not easy to do. Commercial building, especially large ones do not have the plumbing. That would have to be completely worked.
Think about it, there is usually a bathroom (well two) on each floor as opposed to individual offices. If you were to convert to apartments, each unit needs water running to it. Plus, gas lines arent usually run for cooking (depending upon where it is).
As there could be the situation with migration out of the cities where the shortage quickly becomes a glut.
