What a story my friend! That must have been such a WOW moment when you could turn your Crypto into cash, I kmow it was for me as well last year in lockdown.
@riverflows at the time had written a post about turning Steem into Hive by buying Btc but feeling just like you about Crypto, I still got stuck right at the end and @giantbear came to my rescue to turn that to ZAR, then later on @blackberryskunk waved her magic wand and also helped me with the final steps in buying Lotus. Just like you I'm far happier cooking and writing and still need to learn a ton about Crypto!
I learned about using reward.app from a post by @acidyo and this helped me have immediate access to my Crypto during some difficult times especially when we had to close our bnb last year during lockdown plus later on when our son got stuck in Russia. This is still having ramifications so I dip into my Crypto every so often but I've been fortunate to power up on Hive PUD again and thus help with growth of the blockchain.
You are an amazingly strong lady and have my utmost respect, no pea brain for sure!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

@lizelle you are at the top of my list of the greats! I feel if you weren't here there would be a big chunk missing from my enjoyment here.
There is so much to learn and so much I don't get but I am not going to throw in the towel.
I absolutely am grateful for your wonderful kind comment @lizelle and if it weren't for your post I wouldn't have known about this. It was not a usual thing that I do so a bit scary but somewhat therapeutic to step out of the comfort zone. Thank you my friend!
That means such a lot coming from you my friend, you have my utmost respect and admiration and this place would not be the same without you!
You did so well with this story, should really consider telling more of your life or travel stories but your food still is tops of the pops😉
Not to change the subject too much but do you have more info on reward.app? I'm trying to learn more about all of these amazing things and I tried entering the url(is it one?) and it's an unhosted domain.
More relevant note- feel you on the BNB thing. I live in a very overpriced area and have been caretaking a condo for the past few years. The only way I could afford it was to live in a small room with a separate entrance and do short term rentals for the rest of the unit. COVID shut that down and now I've been scrambling to pay for it without running the sub-business for the owners. I filled my room with a room mate, so it's not horrible, but I certainly would have not wanted to live here without my rental ability.. tough times for all. Hope you're making it through ok!
