development is the best marketing.
There is no such thing as "best marketing". There is just cost to benefit.
How much does it cost to create a killer dapp? Can you even do it consistently?
Whats the return on running ads for a month?
Ads will always garner some results. Now consider how many failed dapps there have been on Hive and Steem that no one heard about? Dozens upon dozens. For every Splinterlands theres a 100 Dapplrs.
Just development isnt the answer. Traditional advertising on its own is not the answer either.
You need to be doing "everything" and have it work in tandem.
So yeah. This talk about: "This is best, that is best." is simply wrong. It leads to abandoning a valuable approach, what ever it might be, because its simpler to think about only 1 dimension.
