It is a indeed. I remember the day I did same to the waterleaf I planted and used them to prepare Afang soup, I was so happy. It was so fresh and tasted yummy.

Exactly, having your own farm is something to be proud of I no longer buy vegetables from the market. Even maize, I didn't buy any this year. I've harvested all, will replant soon. It's good to have a garden no matter how small. 🤣
I prefer roasted maize. I like buying it especially as we enjoy the season. Roasted maize have a different flavour and that is why it will always be my first choice.
Wow, didn't know that. I like roasted maize too especially the freshly harvested one when combined with local pear or coconut. 😅.

Yeah, @wealthwess, it's some sometimes difficult to choose between eating roasted and boiled corn because both of them are sweet especially when you are lucky to get the fresh ones. Then with a combination of pear or coconut, it's wow.

I prefer the white type of maize to the yellow one because it's sweeter and softer when fresh. For the yellow one, if you don't harvest it immediately it matures, it gets strong

I prefer white maize but unfortunately there is no white maize in Lagos State so it's mostly yellow maize that we see, I have no option than to manage it, 😆.
