Hello everyone this is Lucky Ali. Today in this splinterlands weekly social media challenge post I am going to share information regarding my GLX achievement. I have got 10k GLX and I know this is not a big but noticeable achievement. The most important thing is a reward that helped me to achieve this goal. When I joined Splinterlands all the asset values were lower the DEC launch happened and the SPS launch changed Splinterlands completely.
Because of those big updates overall valuation was more than 10x. People who hold the Splinterlands assets got decent returns. Y know that my NFT prices have increased a lot I have been holding for a long term.
10k GLX Milestone
I started holding GLX by small purchase and that small purchase was 500 glx tokens. At that time the price of GLX was higher which is why 500 tokens were valuable. Otherside, I was increasing my stake in sps and when I reached the 100k sps milestone my GLX airdrop reward was increased. Also, I was getting a good amount of GLX tokens from staking. This is the big reason It would have been easy for me to achieve this milestone.
Now my future plan is to reach 15k GLX goal and then 20k and 25k. I have no plan to unstake and sell so this will increase further.
Holding Plan For The Long-term
Long-term holding is beneficial and currently, we are still in the bear market because the market is not even in a healthy uptrend so it is still a bear market, especially for all the altcoins. Holding here for the long term will be beneficial because I am getting staking rewards with good APR and this will continue for the 50 more days I think 50 days is a good time period.
Once the reward decreases the price of the token will increase so that time you will have a good amount of GLX tokens to book the profit. One thing that disappoints me that the slow progress of the Genesis League Sports game. I hope they will bring things fast so that we can see further growth in price.
GLX With Limited Quantity
GLX is the governance token like splintershards (sps). Governance token holds a value. SPS contain a limited quantity similar thing with GLX tokens. You can see the staking reward is available for a limited time period after that, only game players will get rewards and in the future, only GLX node license holders will get GLX rewards. So this way they will reduce the rewards and one day a complete full stop.
Now the demand for a thing whose complete supply is stopped suddenly increases. And that is what pushes the GLX price so there are multiple things coming that will push the GLX price. Full game launch can push the GLX price as well.
GLX Staking And Airdrop
We have been getting this airdrop for the last 10 months and I have earned most of the stake from the airdrop. also, GLX staking gives 63% APR and it is still an excellent APR. This is free money everyone loves free money but if you want to earn free crypto then something is required and that is holding another crypto. In the splinterlands you just need to hold more sps tokens to get glx airdrop. This airdrop is going to end in 50 days so we have limited time to accumulate airdrop tokens.
Not only this but the price of GLX will not remain at $0.004 so if you buy some tokens at this price then you are doing the right thing because smart men always take risks by buying cheap things. There are many examples are here who bought crypto when no one gave a value to that particular crypto and later the price jumped like a rocket. We can take this as an opportunity because this is the project by the Splinterlands team so everyone has hope in this.
