There are multiple abilities that will support this monster such as a shield to protect from melee attacks, Repair that will heal the armor, true strike which means the attack will not miss, and Blast ability for additional damage and Armored strike improves its offensive status based on its armor. So these all abilities make this card more powerful and stronger to stand for the first position.

Shield: I am not talking about armor. This specific ability is very useful against the melee and ranged attack monsters because it reduces damage by 50%. Most of the users prefer to use a melee attack at first and a ranged attack at last which means this is going to become an iron for the ranged and melee attack.
Armored strike: I have no more information about this ability but it seems that Armored strike improves its offensive status based on its armor.

If you have a habit of checking the previous 5 teams of the enemy before battling and the enemy is taking mantaroth then you can win the battle easily by using magic attack monsters.
