Many look to the options market to give them signs of what the earnings will do.
To me, it was always a coin toss.
yes playing with options around earnings is pretty much a crap-shoot
Earnings themselves are a coin toss because even if the numbers are good. the street can pick up on one thing, like margins, and slam a stock.
Options just leverage it up. Be right and can make a great return though.
