What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

🏍️ Even if David Guardia did not deliver any sort of prophecy or message to the people of Chicago, Illinois, US, its government leaders, or even to interlopers to Chicago, this may have been all David needed to do while he was in town after he and the rest of Felix Legion completed the eastward ride along what they believed to be the path laid out for the iconic and legendary road of yesteryear, Route 66. As we will see, he had more to do in Chicago on this day.

While I was saving a gang leader from getting a cement milkshake upside the head, the rest of Felix Legion was riding circles around an isolated group of black bloc brigaders who meant to threaten members of Chicago's Finest.

🏍️ The rest of Felix Legion wasn't merely a group of non-playing characters in some game on this day. Felix Legion took advantage of their unexpected presence as motorcycle riders to do things which in earlier times would have gotten them in trouble with The Law. On this day, The Law saw Felix Legion as a much-needed ally in a city where for far too long The Law took a backseat to Raw Power.

When things settled down, remaining elements of the black bloc brigade retreated for their own safety to a visible yet harmless position. Some of the Chicago residents who marched through the streets became more raucous & demanding.

🏍️ For years (or even decades) in major cities and other towns whose governments are dominated by far-left elements, disorder brought about by far-left activists such as these elements of the black bloc brigade had been a periodic feature of life in those areas. However, what they had expected to happen in Chicago on this day was not going to take place. By itself, this could be considered a miracle, or at least a sign that things were different. Chicagoans massed at the Obama Presidential Library sensed this, and for the first time in decades they saw genuine hope on the horizon.

Lieutenant Terry Leo saw that the people massed by the Obama Presidential Library reacted well toward the combined forces of Chicago's gangs and the riot police of the CPD. He took this opportunity to reach the podium to speak.

🏍️ This zapfic entry begins the transition to the high point of this set piece I had in mind for a long time but had trouble visualizing until the time arrived to write it. The key was including Lieutenant Terry Leo and his own role in the events of this day and beyond. By itself, David Guardia giving prophecy was important, but for this moment it didn't seem enough. Enter Terry Leo, the African-American Republican who had already been campaigning for mayor of a city ruled by Democrats for several generations.

🏍️ For some reason, this is what triggered a wave of civil unrest during the time Felix Legion was riding east along Old Route 66. Unlike earlier waves of civil unrest in Chicago, this one felt different. Instead of being instigated by interlopers who are ideological fellow travelers of the groups dominating Chicago government, it was the people who saw that it was foolish to continue to rely on a government which had repeatedly failed them literally generation after generation. These everyday Chicagoans had it up to their scalps with their government and couldn't wait for an election day which was well over one year away.

🏍️ Like everywhere else in the world, gangs caused grief for the people where they lived. In most places, it was kept to a manageable level. In some places, gangs came to have an outsized influence on daily life; Chicago was one of those places. However, in recent years, not even the gangs of Chicago were safe from the problems brought from the outside world by their own federal government and endorsed by the local government. By the time David Guardia arrives in Chicago in October 2028, Chicagoans had reached a breaking point.

Story Arc So Far
Now that David Guardia and Felix Legion are outside the Obama Presidential Library in Jackson Park in Chicago, events pick up speed. David finds himself saving the life of gang leader {Emilio Ibáñez} though an action which can only be described as providential. Not to be left out of the scene, the rest of Felix Legion is riding and drifting around a group of interlopers who had planned on inciting violence against the riot police of the Chicago Police Department. Once things setled down, Lieutenant Terry Leo of the CPD Auxiliary took the oppertunity to address his fellow Chicagoans as part of his campaign for mayor.
With the Route 66 storyline concluded, Act 7 comes to a close and Interlude 4 begins immediately. Interlude 4 takes place in just 1 day, but it's a day featuring history in the making. Introduced in Interlude 4 are gang leaders Emilio Ibáñez and Luther "Big Lu" Jackson, Lieutenant Terry Leo of the Chicago Police Department Auxiliary, and Mrs. Hernandez.
