The same reasons which make Splinterlands a success in blockchain gamimg are pretty much the same reasons which will make Hive successful over the long term.

I agree with what he said. The game is really facing the test of time very well. It has a few years of development now an I believe its only getting better

Between SteemMonsters (what Splinterlands was before Hive) and Splinterlands, it would be interesting to see a graph or inforgraphic showing how the game evolved over the years, from zero players to close to 300K players. Likewise for how many NFTs and their types existed at the start compared to today.
UPDATE -- Oh, you meant the game @shortsegments wrote about in the post I shared here. It would be interesting to see how that game developed, for sure.
