What exactly are you implying, that Kansas City is local? If so, not really, but kind of. I've lived in 9 states, including Colorado and have traveled throughout the states extensively. When I travel it's not just a passing through.
KC is local if that's where you find yourself for any length of time. Same for NYC, Tokyo, or Lagos.
KC is not local to me like NJ is to NYC
You may be right about that. I'll confirm it if I ever find myself in that region. For now, all I have is my warped sense of geograpic distances.
