What happened to using hydrogen as a replacement for gasoline? Or even H2O? I thought techhnology advanced enough to solve the Hindenberg problem. Even compressed natural gas or liquified natural gas would be an improvement over gasoline if the concern was pollutants.

Hydrogen fuelled vehicles are still being developed and they are actually gaining some momentum recently

H2O is not really viable.
