If we can't rescue Bitcoin from USG, we may as well switch to a different cryptocurrency. For years I've been saying that Litecoin-- given its lineage and properties-- hasn't gotten the love it deserves.

Why would that be any different? It is another coin they could hijack. With fixed money, you are guaranteed of having it pool.
