T2 saved the franchise.
Many will disagree, but I thought Terminator: Salvation was a good movie. It was a prequel, so it didn't need The Governator. It focused on other characters. John Connor was good, too.
2,4,1,..., then the rest.

I dont recall if I saw Salvation. I will have to check it out. If the Mets game is a dud I was going to watch T2.
Maybe I will go with Salvation to see if I saw it.

As for the TV series, pay attention to Sarah Connor's first boyfriend: it's the actor we know today as "Mayhem" from the All-State commercials.
