Most of my gambling has been with slot machines. I remember when winnings at slots were in coins; these days, you get a printed receipt to take to the cashier.

If people are going to spend time visiting Bitcoin faucets for free spins to win some prizes or Satoshi, I figured there could be something similar which could draw people to Hive instead.

At the moment I don't have enough HIVE to play any kind of game, but when that time comes I'd like to be able to keep my gaming or casino experience in-house with Hive blockchain.

Oh really? Boring! I was never too much of a gambler, but the few times I did gamble it was only because the prospect of watching all those coins get spit out by a machine was really fun lol

The last time I went to a casino was within the last 5 years, so it's been at least that long that winners get receipts instead of cold hard coins. The winnings are equivalent whether it's a receipt or a bunch of coins, but the coins are much more satisfying on a primal level. The receipt makes it feel like a fed a parking meter.

Here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania online gambling is legal. We were the fourth State to sanction online gambling.

I have the misfortune of living in New York, where my crypto experience (among other experiences) is limited to using Gemini exchange. Needless to say, gambling in New York isn't like gambling in more fun locations like Las Vegas. Rebo, or even Atlantic City.

I agree with you. The sound of coins dropping is very satisfying.

That's one of the reasons why I play Rising Star! :P
