My financial goals and progress on HIVE CHAIN

in LeoFinance5 months ago

Hello Readers,

It is important to set financial goals in life and to keep tracking our progress towards our goals, because if we do not set goals in our lives, we may lose progress and make bad financial decisions in life which may hamper us badly. This is a world of attractions and delusions in which we live, especially in the crypto world where every day we may see new projects surfacing and luring us to invest either money or time or even both. But all that glitter is not gold and after being in this realm for years and burning my hands a handful of times, I have learned not to engage in every project and instead, I should control my emotions and only choose the ones that are trustworthy, transparent and actually bringing value to its users, rather than getting hypnotized by seeing promises of unbelievable returns or eye catchy offers etc.

So, recently I have set some financial goals in my life and been attached to plan strictly while taming down my emotions. I am fully dependent on crypto and earning a living in this crypto world for years, and nowadays I am earning from my Blogs mostly, as playing play2earn games like splinterlands does not give us good returns anymore. So, in order to bring stability to my earnings I have started focusing on writing blogs more seriously and hardly missing any days. Apart from that, I have also realized the need to set goals for saving and investing a part of my earnings to grow well over time and increase my earnings as well. So, around 2 months ago, I set 3 financial goals for myself - Hive Power, HBD savings and LEO Power, which I am about to talk about below. So if you are interested, please continue reading and hope you find it motivating and helpful.

Hive Power

Let me first talk about Hive power and as I recorded in my last Financial Goal Post 11 days ago, the total amount of Hive power I had was 11,768. When I checked today, I was really glad to find out that I had crossed the 12k Hive Power milestone and right now possess a total of 12,064 Huge power in my account. So in the last 11 days, my Hive power stake has increased by 296 and I am now feeling more motivated after experiencing this growth. As the price of Hive has fallen down to 0.2$ per unit recently due to the downtrend, we are earning less HBD from our post payouts but on the other hand, we are also getting more Hive power as author payout. So if anyone wants to grow their Hive power, I think this is probably the best time to do so.

HBD Savings

The Second asset that I have really started focusing on is my HBD savings. From my experience, I have learned a lesson to keep a portion of my total crypto assets in Stablecoins. During the crypto bear seasons, like the one we are experiencing right now, when earnings decreased, I think HBD being a stablecoin will be a good source to survive the season because it does not lose value like other tokens and maintains its price very well like USDT. On top of that, investing in HBD savings gives us a flat 20% yearly interest paid monthly and it is a good source of passive income without taking any risk on your asset. So I have decided to build a decent amount of HBD savings in my account and right now, I have a total of 1800 HBD saved in my savings wallet which is already producing HBD rewards as you can see from the screenshot above. During the recent Hive dip which took its price below 0.2$ per unit, I got tempted to convert my HBD savings to Hive and even started the withdrawal process, but later revoked my decision and canceled the process. As you can see, for this month it has earned me 26.14 HBD and will be claimable after 31 hours. I have also thought that will restake the interest amount back into HBD savings.

LEO POWER

Last but not least, I am focusing on building my Leo Power with a goal of having 15k Leo power in my account one day, so that I can get the Lion status in the InLeo platform. Right now, the total amount of Leo power that I have staked in my account is 11k and I am also saving every little bit of my Leo token earnings which I will be staking on LPUD. Yes, only 2 days remain for the next LPUD event which will happen on 15th July and so far from my author and curation rewards, I have saved a total of 208 Leo which I am about to stake on that day. I am also trying to stay active and interact on the Inleo platform More often and you guys should too because we all can earn a decent amount of Leo and Hive earnings for posting Threads and blogs while using the platform and the more active you are, the better are your chances to get noticed and get curated. I would suggest focusing more on the threads section as not only you will enjoy interacting with others via short-form comments and posts like on Twitter, but we will also get rewarded more often for our contributions.

That’s all for today readers and I hope you liked reading my financial goal post. Have you also set any goals for yourself too? Then let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

It is impressive to see you get so many votes and so much HP for your posts

I've been writing for quite a bit, publishing helpful guides, etc and barely get 10% of that.

You seem to have cracked the code and congrats on that!
