RE: Crypto Custodianship is a Necessary Step

in LeoFinancelast year (edited)

Let's say we get three riders of the end times:

  1. Wrapped BTC in chains like Solana, that can be forced to act as a custodial from one day to another
  2. Traditional Funds loading up and re-marketing only synthetics
  3. Exchange wallets getting transferred to banks or outright becoming banks

That would capture such massive amounts of BTC that financial politics in combination with traditional Banks might get a good grip on the asset and it's utility. LN seem to kill itself even without anyone strangling it.

Hmm, maybe we'll see all those players getting forked out again between 2028 and 2032? Would be fun for sure. That's the beauty about decentralized and trustless crypto world, if the dominant "money" (whatever it is at a given point in time) corrupts... people can just let it rip and use it's next best fork.

Fun Fun Fun.
