I think I will do it, but basically, you just need to figure out how much Wh you consume daily or that you want to be powered by the sun for x amount of hours.
With that in mind is easier to just batteries and solar panels.

Yeah, I have a car battery connected to an UPS. It helps but I still lose internet if the power goes out where the main antena is.
I also want to invest on something that will keep the refrigerator going, that is like the main thing we don't want to lose power for too long
If you don't know how to set up a system by buying the different components, a power station with a solar panel is the cheapest and easiest option.

I'm planning to do off grid mining for quite a while. Need more money to buy everything I need.
That is something i want to build someday but if i leave Cuba, here is impossible due to the lack of good internet and stable electricity.

For a hive node you need other things. I could rent a VPS to do that but you need also support from the people here.
Yeah, a VPS is a simple way to do it, and you will need the votes of the community, but we started that way.
