There will be initial bullishness but I believe we already might have a clue as to what will trigger the next bear market: Trump's tariffs and the resulting trade wars tanking the US and the world economies. The tariffs will result in higher inflation and thus higher central bank interest rates leading to risk asset collapse. It will take time for the Trump administration to implement its policies and the tariffs will most likely begin to take full effect right on schedule in 2026.
