I only play hardcore. Could never go back. Yesterday I lost a 20+ hour Terraria char. Beat all 3 mechanical bosses, running around in the jungle looking for Life fruit, stepped on an explosive pressure plate. Hallowed armour did nothing.
Still, its the price we pay for the excitement :)
