What are your thoughts on big data? I ran a project a few years ago and we learned about the code that was being generated that we mined and it gave us alot of useful info on the project.
Do you think big data which is data generated say from using CUBfinance be used to grow the platform and better target users?

I work as a data analyst .
Data definitely helps. Analysis will give us insights that cannot be seen with just normal observation .
One of my biggest insight I gathered was the time people are active and the time they vote for others , I adjusted my posting to that time and increased my post visibility .
Same goes with CubFinance too or even Hive . There are lot of things we can use like sentiment analysis and stuff to determine what's going on , are we gonna lose people? Gain people etc.

That would be a really useful way of posting. I'm not too sure about optimal times to post but being in Australia our time zones are different so it is harder.
I find if I post a Leo finance post at 8:30 - 9am it will get traction and then after that I need to wait until midnight 1am to post otherwise I get bugger all. Like this week 🤣

You're correct, there are optimal times (and days) to post. I wrote a humorous article about it a couple of years ago and like to have fun with my friends who live in those states. It also depends on who you're trying to reach as USA vs Australia might have very different results.
I assume AUS like US has most of their population on the east coast as opposed to the west? Here, you'd want to target the eastern time zone where over half the population lives, then Texas and California/west coast and forget about everything else west of the Mississippi river. They call that "Flyover Country" because you "flyover" it getting to the more important areas. Places like the Dakotas, Kansas, Wyoming etc. Mostly empty states not worth targeting.

As a kid, I was told it was everything west of the Mississippi and east of California, excluding Texas. (on some maps)
Here for instance (depending on platform) The AVERAGE best time to post is 10:30AM eastern time. It's better to publish on Tuesday instead of Monday as on Monday, they are busy catching up on weekend work.
Thursday, is a good day to post movie reviews. Gives them time to make plans for the weekend. Etc, etc.

Oh wow I had no idea thanks for the heads up, I might try and time my posts better. Yes most of Australia lives on the East Coast in Melbourne and Sydney.
Would make sense to me. Marketing and advertising needs to be targeted. In the instance of CUB Finance, I would aggregate data concerning investors in the DeFi space and then target the same.

Yup, there would also be alot of data on what country and what times people are on too. Knowing what country is the majority would help setting the price of things I rekon
