Kids already ate. So I’m enjoying my dinner alone. The movie Dunki is keeping me company. 🥰

The reviews for Dunki were not very positive.

Reviews are one thing, but I'm the ultimate judge of a film's success: if I enjoyed it, it's a success for me.
Sure, I can dissect and analyze any movie under the sun, but tonight, entertainment was my primary goal.

I laughed, I cried, I was amazed, and I was moved.
Some scenes were admittedly over the top, but isn't that to be expected in a film like this?
It's all about creating an emotional rollercoaster, and this film certainly did that.

And the message it conveyed about the "Donkey route" and the desperation for a better life was delivered effectively.
It painted a vivid picture of the sacrifices people make in pursuit of a brighter future.
Ultimately, whether you love or hate this film, it's a unique and thought-provoking experience.

All good with the story-line and experimentation. I am glad that you liked the movie.

I am against for Shahrukh to experiment with his young self. He better keep himself doing his job age appropriate. It looks so over the top when he acted out the younger part. Also, Rajkumar Hirani mimicked the way he made other films but he needed a star who is not Shahruk. He is too big a start to get into the character that was portrayed.

It was a good show though :)
