It's night time but I am just getting started on Hive. I still need to get my steps in for actifit though.

You basically just walk and the phone will count the steps. You need at least 5k to get upvotes and 10k for the maximum rewards. Once your done walking, you can click the "Post & earn" button to write up your post.
Wow that seem like what I'll have so much fun doing, do I have to have my data turned on always to get my steps counted on the app or site?
The app does not require any permissions on your phone for it to count. You do have to put down your private posting key into the app when you sign in though.

Yea. You can download it from the playstore. I suggest maybe making a new account for actifit if you don't want to mess up your feed. I am so used to it on mine so I don't care.
Once you start getting some AFIT in your wallet, your gonna want to go to the site and buy some gamified items, which can boost your AFIT earnings. Sometimes I forget to visit the site that much
Haha having threads join in would definitely limit your visit there 😅
Assuming you have a high enough AFIT balance, you can also trade in some AFIT for a 25% upvote and I find that to be worth it. However, it takes a few days for that upvote to happen.
