I personally use the LeoFinance interface, but it doesn't matter, as long as the comments are visible on LeoFinance. After all, we're just talking about boosting the overall engagement on Hive and it's communities. That's how we will look attractive to outsiders. No one would join a dead or inactive community, so having an active, good looking community is vital for our success in the long haul.
If you comment through another front end, it does not show up on the Leofinance numbers. Also, any LEO payouts you receive on your posts or comments will be reduce by 20% (HIVE/HBD is unaffected).
So yes there are advantages to using Leofinance to post and comment.

We should have an "adopt a tribe" event, where we all invest 1 HIVE and 1 Post to a tribe.
Then we wait to see if anything long lasting came from it.
