Hey Lions
Long time no see.
A lot has changed for me since last time I was here.
Mainly I went from being a married, stay at home mom to a divorced, full time employee... well, I'm actually "separated" which feels a million times worse, like being stuck in limbo.
It’s weird to go from cooking 3, from scratch meals per day to working on spreadsheets, and creating reports.
It’s a good change, though, terrible as it sounds and I’m enjoying my job but sometimes I get nostalgic for my stay at home days. I used to get a lot more hugs and cuddles, I also had more time to play games and bake cookies. I miss working on my garden, and spending time with my home.
But then I think of how much easier things are with a steady constant and consistent income. How I was able to jump into a career where I feel valued, needed, and part of a team. I love my teammates, and we all have goals in common. Amazing things happen when people respect each other and pull their weight. Its the first time I've ever been at a job and can imagine myself being happily for a long stretch.
Things on LEOfinance have had some changes too. Changes that make me excited to start my newsletter and start promoting my writing.
I love how evergreen articles are going to start generating income for us, and I love that the threshold for earning is going to start at 200 views. I’m sure that will change as time goes on, but that’s not a very big begining of the road start. Also, I love how we need 10,000 users as a whole community to trigger a higher income.
That’s not a very big number. It would take just 10 of us, bringing 1000 users to this community.
It’s a lot easier now that all content is welcome here on leofinance.
I've been meaning to write for some days now, I was getting myself stuck on formulating my next amazing article, but here on LEO, daily blogging is the baby step that makes miles. Checking in and stating your plans, saying hello, and stating your presence is welcome.
