Do you place links in your threads? Does it affect their visibility?

Not even possible to place links on top-level threads. But I do sometimes add links on threadstorms. I don't know how they affect visibility. Wished we had a tool to check that.
My observation is tags used on the second layer have no impact.

Yes. When I place a link to a post in my top thread, it seems my Threads are not visible. Do you know if there is a formal rule hiding Threads with links?
This has been a little on an off lately (i.e. buggy). It's supposed to show as far as I know, as there is a setting under Settings where the individual user can choose.
A general rule of thumb, though, is to put post links as a response to the top-level thread. If you in addition want to get your post curated by leo.voter, you should do a threadstorm as described here: https://inleo.io/@anomadsoul/curation-on-leo-finance-threads-outreach
