Notarify: Notarization on Public Blockchain made accessible

A few months ago I officially released my logo.

I personally do not like the international registration of my logo. You know, if anyone uses it, it becomes a matter of attorneys. And I do not like it. I preferred going for the intellectual right showing who has been the first registering the logo. A Proof of Existence and a Proof of Date.

I found a few services, but all of them were on private blockchains. I actually wanted a public Blockchain and I wanted to find a way to identify my logo on the Blockchain with a Hash and a TxId.

I tried also a service that Hashed the logo, loading the logo onto the Blockchain, by paying 0.00025 BTC. Well, nothing really worked.

What I found was Notarify, an Italian based application that uploads automatically documents to the EOS, ETH Blockchain, and implementing more.

You can find the WebApp at this link: https://notarify.io/

And my logo as already been registered on the EOS, ETH and BTC blockchain for free with my Biometric Signature. With the free service you will have one Biometric signature per month and 250MB cloud storage for uploading your files.

After you request the registration on the platform, a certificate will become available, stating the data of the transactions you inserted on the blockchain via Notarify.

During the registration you will be also asked if you would like to share the document with others and if you want to make it downloadable.

Why I like Notarify and other similar applications?

We always say that the Blockchain is an immutable database to store data, to store information that must be immutable in the time. But who has really managed to insert data into it?

Well, you can go to websites where you can hash a data and then insert the hash in a transaction. Ok
You can use private blockchains to register data. No, this is really not going to happen.

With Notarify all you need to do is a drag&drop and then select some features to upload the document plus the Biometric registration to associate the document to your identity.

And what if Notarify collapse?

Well, until Notarify is alive, you can use their dashboard even for lawsuits. They already managed different court procedures to defend intellectual rights that were registered only on the blockchain and not in patent offices or other government structures.

If Notarify may collapse or its service would not be working anymore, I bet others will appear. Anyway, Notarify gives you the hash and the TxId of the document registered on the blockchains, meaning that you would be able to recover data even without Notarify. And you will still have the Certification of data Blockchain incorporation.

As George Clooney would say: “What else?”

Interesting. I would like to know it more.
