    I also wonder why, rich folks could compete like look how much I fund the government - I'm so awesome.

    Because most people are not willing to have their money stolen :-)

    And a lot of people are not obedient :-)

    How do you know it is stealing? They have to "force" people to do it!

    That's bcoz the tax regime in itself is coercive and the productive member of the society is forced to pay an exorbitant tax just because he is most productive.
