Agreed. That is the goal. However, in the early stages you need the super users before the numbers show up. This is where the foundation comes from.
1/ We are not being able to delay the gratification through smart contract, once we manage to do that the initial momentum will be able to shift to a much wider user base.
2/ At the moment, delayed gratification is more less a narrative or normative statement, not enforced with a smart contract.
