Yeah I know of someone that used to blog here last bull run, he had sufficient funds but got his application denied due to the fact that his income was from crypto. He missed Steem meet up that year

That is the reality and the only way is to have the money in the bank as crypto means nothing to them. I can understand this as today you can show value ,but in a bear market you could be a liability to the state.
