One thing I mentioned was to maybe lower the percent of inflation going to DHF and increasing the percent going to HP holders (who participate in governance). So perhaps either a hard fork to change inflation allocation OR a DHF proposal, in either case to give some APR yield to staked hive-engine tokens similar to what is now given to HP holders.
Or since hive-engine is not yet decentralized (but is the only current game in town), maybe we should think about the tokens VSC will allow the creation of. I think it will be more decentralized from the start.
Another idea is for DHF to fund purchases in shares of a token index fund of some sort, which could include L2 tokens on HIVE as well as meme tokens and other tokens from other chains. That post I just replied to mentioned a Bitcoin fund so I'm not proposing something totally original here. :)
