Are you using posting or active key. I heard some had issues until they just used their posting key.

I just upload on hive.blog and copy paste the image link, it works that way. Gave up on trying to do it natively despite people saying over and over that it works 🤷♂️

I can reply to comments with pictures, through your method, but when I try it as a single post, it doesn’t get indexed
Right, you need to just copy the part between http and jpg, no brackets
