Fake airdrop - Decentraland X account compromised!

On September 19, 2024, Decentraland's X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked, leading to a fake airdrop announcement targeting MANA token holders. Hackers posted a fraudulent link directing users to a phishing site where connecting their wallets resulted in stolen assets.

Despite warnings from PeckShieldAlert, some users fell victim before the breach was contained. Decentraland has since regained control of their account and advised users to be cautious with sudden airdrop announcements and to verify them through multiple official channels to avoid similar scams in the future.

Split your income to these 5 places

To work towards financial freedom, it's recommended to allocate income into five key areas: basic needs, emergency fund, investments, healthcare fund, and sophistications. Basic needs include monthly expenses and debt repayment.

An emergency fund provides financial security for unforeseen events, while investments focus on long-term wealth building. A healthcare fund is set aside for medical expenses not covered by insurance. Finally, a "sophistications" fund supports discretionary spending, such as travel or luxury purchases, ensuring a balanced financial approach.
