Hey there welcome to Hive, you can earn nicely if you give it time to build up your Hive and HP as well as your reputation as a good content creator of original content.

Keep posting daily if possible and focus on writing a decent post of a few hundred words. I usually aim for 500 - 1000 words. If you put in some of your own photos it will add to the quality of your post. In that way you will start receiving more upvotes and make followers along the way.

Also remember to comment on as many other posts as possible to build up a network. You also earn Hive simply by upvoting and commenting on other posts. It may be slow at first to earn much but it will grow if you keep it up over time.

Wishing you all the best from South Africa.

I am an Ontario, Canad resident. Binance is blocked here. I will try Bittrex. Thank you for the quick response.

If you set up Hive Wallet, there's a "Buy HIVE or HIVEPOWER" button at the top in a red box. That takes you to BlockTrades (you'll need to sign up, takes about 2 minutes, just a case of verifying email address).

In BlockTrades, you can add your Hive account name, and from there they will give you a deposit address you can use in whichever exchange you prefer to buy your crypto in. Blocktrades will let you send one of about half a dozen types of coin, and will convert it to HIVE, Hive Power or HBD and add it to your wallet.

I have a HIVE wallet with ecency. Let me try BlockTrade. Being in Ontario is not easy for crypto traders. Thank you very much. Appreciate your help.

You can do it through Bittrex, Binance with fiat or you can use your LTC or BTC to buy it through an app like Blocktrades.

I have a Binance account, but its now prohibited in Ontario. I will go with Bittrex. Which offline wallet is best for HIVE?

If you have BTC, then this is the most convenient and fastest way. No KYC, no registering, no shady ref links, just swapping BTC to Hive:
