Quite recently right before NFTs violently took the share of today's crypto marketplace there was only DEFI, defi and yield farming was the shit, that is still going strong but we also have NFTs and blockchain games that are slowly taking the stage combining the two new concepts.
Lately you can see the absolute madness when you start to talk about NFTs and games with yield farming with their native coins and smart contracts, BSC (Binance Smart Chain) took a strong lead putting ethereum and it's high fees behind in the dust.
There are two projects that are getting very popular very fast and those are Alien Worlds and Momo Farmer.
Alien Worlds TLM coin, live for only 3 months is already very volatile and has most of it's systems in place. You can farm TLM coins and NFTs just by joining the game on Wax blockchain, wallet is easy to setup and you can literally start with no investments and slowly grow over time. While the game struggles atm with big numbers it continues to gain popularity. It's a simple concept, easy to get in and it makes you money and you have a chance to find a rare NFT.
Alien Worlds had it's first year anniversary but Momo Farmer is brand new, Mbox token launched this month and I would say that it's doing quite ok, there are more than 200 million$ staked on the platform right now. Company behind all that is the company behind dreaded ChainZ Arena, but they definitely redeemed themselves with Momo Farmer which is now among the first kind of yield and NFT farming games on BSC.
Once you stake your Mbox and BNB tokens through yield farming you get keys which will open the chests where NFTs called Momos are, the most fun part about those NFTs is that they will earn you more MOBOX coins, which you can stake more to get more keys. Those NFTs will also be used in future games, first one is called Momo Battler and it is coming out next month, so those Momo NFTs will also have the new utility in that new game, it's a crazy system I know, but it works and smart contracts are audited which means there should be no hacks or exploits.
Both of these gaming related yield farming smart contract NFT games have it all. Everything is connected, currency - NFTs- yield farming - It's all a nice package of everything and these are also games that will be updated over time, it's not just an app that does only one thing, you can have fun and earn a lot by having fun, isn't that fun.
Early Yield farming provided proof of concept and it showed the world that it works, we can see a lot of farming through those contracts. I personally never did any of that but these two projects are definitely on my radar and I'm already participating. My profits in both games are now above 10000$ and they show no signs of stopping, I'm sure they eventually will once bear market inevitably comes knocking on our doors.
As always if you chose to join any of these projects have in mind that everything can go to zero, it's best to invest only amounts you can afford to lose, crypto still is one of the riskiest assets you can participate in.
I got out of Alien Worlds amid the madness and frenzy a couple of weeks ago and did well. Are you still playing it?
Yes I'm still in, I still get some TLM and NFTs here and there. I want to see how will they manage Thunderdome and artifacts. It's still very early for this game, but yes I also sold the overpriced mining gear I had.
I just checked back in on Alien Worlds the other day was like oh my wish I had more TLM.
Shame how little most of everything is now on R-Planet for staking. At least those items made more from staking than I would have gotten just selling now.
Never heard of MOBOX. Might check it out further late.
I kept my TLM from early days, I kinda want to hold that still to see the whole potential of the game realize. RPlanet aether went up in price so that is nice too, I kept everything and never sold. Wax turned out to be pretty nice.
Mobox team is one of those love hate relationships, they innovate and they make mistakes but they are one of the most busiest teams in crypto that I know of. Momo NFT Farmer videos can be found on youtube, check it out, you might find it interesting.
I’ve been quite happy with Wax. I started with nothing over there and worked my way up into getting into a few games now.
Innovators that make mistakes early on and are still willing to move forward are exactly what this space needs.
