MICROSOFT AND OPENAI: HEADED FOR A BREAKUP?
looks like microsoft is getting ready to move on from openai. they're building their own ai models and testing alternatives like xai, meta, and deepseek to replace chatgpt in copilot. why? copilot isn’t impressing enterprise users—it’s expensive and underwhelming. plus, openai and microsoft are starting to compete, so a split makes sense. microsoft wants full control over its ai future, and openai might not fit into that plan anymore.
